What Revelation Does Not Collect

Revelation Tab does not collect analytics, browsing data, personal notes, tasks, shortcuts, reading list content, search queries, or personal profile data.

What Chrome Stores

Theme preference, display mode, pinned backgrounds, tasks, sticky notes, shortcuts, reading list, name, brightness, contrast, font size, and volume settings are saved with Chrome storage so the extension can remember your setup.

Sync and Backups

If Chrome sync is enabled, Chrome may sync your saved extension state between signed-in browsers. Revelation also supports backup export and import so you can keep a local copy of your setup.

Permissions

• Storage is used to save settings and extension content.
• Geolocation is only used if you enable the weather widget.
• topSites and history are only used if you enable the corresponding optional panels.

Personal Backgrounds and Optional Submissions

Personal background images stay on your device in browser storage and are included in local backup exports. Choosing an image does not upload it. Images are resized and re-encoded to remove original file metadata.

The separate background submission page sends a copy to Reverie Software's private Cloudflare R2 storage only when you consent to private review and press Send for review. The submission includes the prepared image, optional credit name, submission date, and your consent choices. Permission to publish is separate and optional. No submission is published automatically.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes network and verification information to protect the submission service from abuse. We do not store your IP address with the image. Contact reveriesofts@hotmail.com with your submission reference to request removal or withdraw publication permission. Copies already downloaded by others may remain on their devices.
